Text message terms
Effective 2026-09-15
What you agree to receive, how to stop, and how to get help.
The Lookover program
Lookover, operated by Webspin, LLC, sends automated service messages to eligible US mobile numbers. You can send documents, photos or questions to our toll-free number (being set up). Software generates explanations and follow-up replies. Other messages can include activation requests, delivery acknowledgments, reminders, weekly overviews, important alerts, account notices and responses to support requests. These are service messages, not a subscription to promotional texts.
Lookover does not verify senders, guarantee that a message is safe, or act on a document for you. Explanations can be wrong. This is not an emergency service.
Your permission comes first
Providing a phone number is not a substitute for that person’s permission. If you request activation for your own number, Lookover sends a confirmation message asking you to reply YES. Regular document processing and service texts for that number begin after confirmation.
Before an account holder adds another person’s number, they must obtain that person’s permission to receive the invitation. The invited person must then confirm directly with Lookover. A relative cannot agree on their behalf simply by adding the number. If an unexpected invitation reaches you, ignore it or reply STOP; you do not need to send any documents.
By confirming, you agree to receive the described automated texts at that number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is specific to Lookover’s service messages and is not sold or transferred for other companies’ marketing. Sending us a question allows us to respond to that exchange; it does not enroll you in unrelated promotional messages.
You do not have to give a phone number at all, and agreeing to texts is never a condition of subscribing. Signup asks for a number only if you want to use texting; leave it blank and Lookover works by email at desk@lookoverit.com. You can add a number later, or never. You must be the subscriber or an authorized user of any number you activate. Tell us when you lose access to it or it is reassigned.
Message frequency and delivery
The number of messages depends on what you send, follow-up questions, reminders and account activity. A document may generate an acknowledgment and an explanation, and longer replies may use multiple SMS segments. Weekly overviews and important alerts may add messages. We do not promise a fixed number of messages or a response time.
Delivery depends on carrier coverage, your device, filtering and service availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on a text as your only record of a deadline.
STOP: end texts
Reply STOP to end Lookover texts to your number. Supported alternatives include STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT. You may receive one confirmation of the opt-out. Other reasonable requests to withdraw consent can be sent to support@lookoverit.com; we may need enough information to identify the number.
STOP stops texts, not your subscription. This applies to the account holder and invited senders alike. Subscription charges and email service continue until you cancel through Plan on the Lookover account page. STOP does not delete your account data. The terms of service explain cancellation timing and refunds.
START: request texts again
Reply START to remove the texting opt-out. For an active account, Lookover may ask for YES again before reading resumes. START does not restore a canceled subscription or create a new charge. The account holder must complete a new signup if the subscription has ended.
HELP and human support
Reply HELP for service instructions. Use PERSON to request human help, or email support@lookoverit.com. Human support is asynchronous and is not emergency assistance.
Cost and privacy
Your carrier’s message and data charges may apply. Lookover does not add a separate per-text charge; the subscription price is described in the terms of service.
We do not sell mobile numbers, text-message consent or opt-in records, or share them with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. Messaging providers and carriers receive the information needed to deliver and operate the service. SMS and ordinary email are not end-to-end encrypted; messages can appear on lock screens, shared devices and carrier systems.
See our privacy policy for content retention, authorized staff access and service providers, and our health data privacy notice for health-related documents. If we materially change this program, we will provide notice and obtain new consent where required.
